I buy and sell American Country Primitive Furniture and accessories in Southern California. I especially love old painted furniture,19th Century or earlier with the original finish. I'm also fond of Architectural items and some but not all rusty garden items.
In 2009 my house was featured with 14 pages in the Christmas issue of Romantic Homes, and this year to find out they've included a couple of more pictures and had some very nice comments on my country style of decorating, well, I'm thrilled!
This Rose O'Neill Illustration of Santa with her trademark Kewpies' for Ladies' Home Journal is original, not a copy. I'm having a hard time parting with it as you can imagine, so for this Christmas anyway, I'll keep it. Maybe after the holidays I'll sell it, I really need to pare down my decorations. :-(
This little table is so unusual and adorable. In the 30 years I've been collecting and selling American Country antiques I've never come across a small hutch table like this. More pictures and info. on my ebay listing.
